VISION & MISSION
The Northern Ohio District Young People's Union has come through a period of restoration under the past administration of Elder Carlos Morris. We have seen God use Elder Morris and his administration to restore the district, just like God used Nehemiah and the children of Israel to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Where do we go from here? Jesus shared with Peter in Luke 22:32, "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen they brethren." It is time for us now as a district to strengthen our brethren and win souls for the Lord. Theme: "People of Purpose" I Peter 2:9 We must know who we are in Christ in order to fulfill our purpose: A chosen generation A royal priesthood, An holy nation, And a peculiar people. We must know what our purpose is in order to fulfill our purpose: to show forth the praises of him (God) who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. MISSION The Northern Ohio District Young People's Union has been established to reach non-believing young people and adults with the saving message of Jesus Christ, to equip them with the word of God, to couple them with Christians, to teach them to exalt God, and to provide them with the opportunity to experience the work of the ministry.
